At this 21st century, we are living in a so-called information society, where internet has become an essential tool not only in corporate management but also in every household. However, we may be able to, by no means, proclaim that the corporate informatization and introduction of various management information system were absolutely beneficial and effective in the corporate management.

Rather, in spite of such enormous spending, the system has only turned into a trouble requiring more personnel and time due to the lack of preparation and operational inexperience. Also, in most of the small-and-medium companies, the operation of management information system (MIS) and web server are still beyond their reach.

However, I would like to dare to say that the future of our economy depends on the informatization.  Already from the early 1980s, the companies of advanced countries have accumulated a wide range of information from business and academic fields with their sight on the knowledge management. They are ready to emerge as competitors just under our very eyes. 

Also, in order to survive in the world market, our large companies will also no longer choose SMEs simply because we are located near.  After all, informatization has now become not a matter of choice but a matter of existence for our businesses.
